Built entirely in Unity3D we created a native iOS and android app that let users customize and explore their ideal Camaro. As CG lead I directed everything from the look and feel of garage to the lighting on the suede interior. I modeled, textured, and animated much of the experience.

Chevrolet provided us with extremely high resolution CAD models which were far too heavy for the app to handle. We used the CAD models as a base for much lower resolution models, going from over 5 million polygons, to just over 150,000. In order to hit our goal of an App size below 100MB, we used every trick in the book to bring out texture sizes down. I took a crash course in shader writing to help us cut down some of the uneccesary pieces of Unity's uber shader.
